Heart Graph C2C Crochet Blanket Pattern and Review
Today I will be reviewing my new set of hook and also adding the pattern for my Heart Graph C2C Crochet Blanket. As you all may have noticed, I am no stranger to Clover hooks. I have been using Clover Soft Touch Hooks for the past couple of years. The only issue I have with them is not having a larger hook as my go to for my bulky weighted yarn patterns projects.
Enter the Clover Amour Jumbo Hooks, they come in seven sizes from 6.5 mm to 15 mm. Clover USA sent me a set to review and they are also going to send a set to one lucky person. My personal favorite from this set is the 9.0 mm hook.
I was so happy when I found out that I would be getting the chance to review these crochet hooks. I am usually not a fan of plastic hooks because they are usually completely inline, tend to stick to the yarn a bit, and break easily. (I am very heavy handed.) I didn’t have those issues when using these hooks. They are very light and also, they are really smooth. The yarn glides well on the shaft of the hook this helps me out a lot. I like to crochet fast so this is a big deal for me. They don’t slow me down at all. I hold my hook like a knife and it did take me a second to get used to how the hooks felt in my hands while working.
The colors are great and the shape of the hook is easy to work with. I do wish that there was a little more room to do more stitches with bulky yarn, but overall, I really like these hooks.
Now for the fun!
